Mountain Climbing
In late 2007 a client named Olivia (Los Angeles, USA) emailed
me one of the strangest photos I had ever seen—of someone
hanging on to a rock on a steep, high mountain--and she commissioned
a Spiritual Poem based on that photo. She seemed very secretive
about the photo.
"This is something that has haunted me for a long time,"
Olivia wrote. "I really can't tell you anything about
it. I need to know 100 percent in my heart that you will write
me a poem with the spiritual energy of my photograph, and
that is why I will not tell you anything about it."
I emailed the Poem to Olivia about three weeks. There did
not seem to be anything unusual about the Poem. It was 37
lines in length and happened to mention 4 beams of light reaching
to the sun.
I wrote in my email to Olivia, "You have
been very secretive about this photo. Now that you have the
Poem, can you tell me what it is about?"
Olivia's response was,
"This is a photo of me. I'm a professional
mountain climber and photographer. This photo was taken of'
me in 2003, when I was the fifth member of the official four-member
climbing team. I was going through some major personal problems
so I hired another photographer to climb in my place as part
of the official team. That day there was an avalanche and
everyone was killed. I'm was the only survivor."
"It's interesting that the Poem talks
about four rays of light as there were four members in our
team... and there are 37 lines to the Poem. The accident happened
on the 3rd of July... Now I'm not big into numerolgy, but
the reason I was so messed up that day was that my nephew
was dying, and he was 10 years of age (3 + 7), and originally
there were supposed to be 7 members of our team, but three
were held up on another mountain so coulkdn't make our climb
(7 - 3)."
I must tell you that after reading your Poem
I cried and cried. You see I put the palm of my hand over
the poem and I felt this energy telling me, "Everything
is alright. Jerry (nephew) and the four climbers are at peace
now. It's time to get on with your life." "
"... and I want to thank you. The Poem
you wrote me has changed my life. Before I bought this Poem
I was suffering from PTSD; I couldn't sleep at night, and
I often found myself crying uncontrollably. Since I've had
my Poem I've come to realize that it was their time to go,
and it wasn't my time to go."
"Whenever I'm feeling sad or lonely, or
any time something goes wrong in my life, I take out my Poem,
run my hand over it and feel its energy. Then I know I'm here
for a reason. I still have a mission to accomplish in my life."
